Hue

For areas defined using the Circle tool, Area tool or Rectangle tool, Digimizer can calculate the average hue value (*).

Hue is the attribute of a color that allows it to be classified as a distinct color of the spectrum: red, green, yellow, orange, blue, and so on. It corresponds to a particular wavelength frequency.

In Digimizer, hue is expressed as a number ranging from 0 to 360 as shown in the following figure:

*Only the parameters selected in the Measurements List Columns options box are displayed in the Measurements list window.
