Image area

The image area shows the image that is being processed.

You can:

• zoom in and out using the Zoom controls on the toolbar, or using the mousewheel (with Ctrl key depressed);
• change the contrast and brightness of the image using buttons on the toolbar;
• invert and sharpen the image, change contrast and colors using the commands on the Image menu;
• rotate, straighten, or crop the image using commands in the menu or buttons on the toolbar;
• apply different filters to the image (Arithmetic Mean Filter, Harmonic Mean Filter, etc);
• perform measurements in the image with one of the measurements tools
