Use

Select a measurement object by clicking on its outline.

To select multiple objects:

place the mouse pointer just outside (not on) the first object you want to select; hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse pointer over the other objects; or
click different objects whilst pressing the Ctrl key; or
press Ctrl+A to select all objects.

When multiple objects are selected, you can unselect one by clicking it whilst pressing the Ctrl key.
